@abominationbrewingco Toxic Earth DIPA w/ honey & matcha 9.3% ABV $21.49/4-pack

Pouring an absolutely wicked green with a nice fluffy head of colorful foam, you get notes of fresh hops with a hint of matcha-infused sweetness on the nose. The honey works as a diplomat, softening the sharpness of both the hops and tea tannins so that it’s remarkably smooth for a DIPA with this much booze. There is a nice sparkly bite on the front — perhaps a combination of alcohol heat and hops — but the star here is the balance of beer and tea notes, not how drunk it’ll get ya (that’s just an added bonus).
